WE Will! K-16 Collaborative, in partnership with the Career Ladders Project (CLP), convened a Dual Enrollment Workshop for partners across the region. The session, facilitated by Ms. Kylie Campbell, Director of CLP, involved collaboration with the WE Will! Facilitation Team and included engagement with Community College partners to collect and analyze dual enrollment data. This information was systematically compiled utilizing the Dual Enrollment Access Gap Tool and was presented to participants during the workshop.
The data collected enabled attendees to thoroughly examine the gaps encountered by many of our partners and facilitated real-time discussions with representatives from each of the participating Community Colleges.
Additionally, the workshop served as a valuable opportunity for networking and the exchange of effective practices among partners within their respective contexts.
The makeup of attendees included 24% Industry Partners, 29% Post-Secondary Partners, and 47% K12 Partners.
The workshop proved to be highly impactful within the region. The following feedback was shared in response to participant inquiries:
What was something new you learned about the Dual Enrollment Access Gap Tool?
“How many students we need to reach to close the data gap. Thank you!”
